The NYHBA association helps regulate education and competition standards throughout the greater New York area. He is dedicated to the promotion of hairdressing as a prospective career for young people today, an objective that is close to his heart.

With that in mind Giuseppe has been working in America doing hair since he migrated from Italy combining the art of hair from two continents with great success and pride.

Co-owner of Salon Vivace Joey Mannino runs a successful salon that has earned the highest marks among clients, consumers, his staff and the press.

Joey studied music early in life and it has surely influenced his keen ability to create a style and run a business with passion. He never lost the beat and applies his musical background to orchestrate his creativity. His dedication to his craft and his artistry approach to the diversity of hairdressing ‘looks’ has made him a winner with his diverse client base.

His extensive training started with becoming an Aveda concept hairdresser. He then became certified in many areas in his field from hair extension by So Cap, Lasio Keratin Hair Straightening to a master colorist with Kaaral. All of these endeavors grew into the master hairdresser he is today. He does not limit him self in any area of hairdressing.

She has studied with Redkin Academy, Wella studios and now with Kaaral. Jeanine has received extensive advanced training in cutting, styling, up dos, and applying hair extensions as well. Her work can be described as consistent, creative and technical.

When clients leave Jeanine’s chair, they leave with not only an exciting hairstyle, but also a boost in confidence. She never had a hard time figuring out what she wanted to be when she grew up. She knew she wanted to be a hair stylist ever since she was a young girl. Her passion for the hair industry has driven her to become one of the forefront stylists in highlighting, coloring, hair cutting and styling.

Jeannie devotes herself to creating a fun and relaxing experience, giving her clients time away from reality. Her charming personality is an asset to the salon experience and her love of a good conversation makes her sought after by many. Joanne is a 35-year veteran in the hair industry; she designs classic and efficient hairstyles to complement each client’s individual personality. Joanne has devoted numerous hours towards continuous education, attending classes with Lorelel, Paul Mitchell, Goldwell, Wella and Koral. Her precision cuts exceptional color artistry has contributed to her popular demand. Joanne is a firm believer that giving each client consistency with every visit is the most important attribute a stylist can provide.

When you sit down in Joanne’s Mazza’s chair, not only do you get pampered and receive an exquisite haircut, you also become drawn to her charismatic nature and charm. Her compassion and attention for her clients is superior and when they leave, they become her friend and a part of her family. For over 20 years, Lawrence Pitonza has been a creative media designer and producer for celebrities and corporate executives. He has the unique credential of a BA in Visual Arts from Purchase College. In working with high profile A-listers in the movie business in Hollywood, he has done photo shoots, commercials, special effects and prosthetics, costume and mask design, wig creations, and set and prop fabrications.

In working with corporate personnel, he has created makeovers for upwardly mobile people on the move. He has been interviewed, photographed, and quoted often by the media explaining why certain techniques are used to enhance particular images. Lawrence has been in such great demand for his knowledge and skills that various investigative units in the field of security and surveillance have also sought out his talents to create disguises to alter people's identities.

Lawrence doesn't limit himself to one form of art. He has developed a keen agility with technology, and can easily apply that facility to sculpting, painting, drawing, hair design, children's stories and cartooning, and other artistic ventures. His unparalleled innovative artistry has taken him into the arenas of ballet, opera, movies, commercials, TV shows, fine arts, and business entrepreneurship.

Daniella Veca has been around the business of hair literally her entire life. She is a second-generation hairstylist, thanks to her Father Giuseppe who has owned and operated many Salons, for many years, outside of New York City.

After completing her technical training and getting her license, she underwent a four-year advanced apprenticeship with "Giuseppe Veca, her Father" at Salon Vivace, which is one of the finest Upbeat Hair Salon in Westchester County NY. Many of the area's best hairdressers have come to this salon to work, as the standards are of the highest. In addition, Daniella received advanced training from at Matrix Color academy, Redkin Cutting academy, and So. Cap, among others. She has worked with hair color companies such as Wella, Redkin, and recently Kaaral, producer of the finest permanent color on the market (Italian Color with shades that stay longer, and reds that don't fade). Another One of her top achievements is her work with hair extensions.

Daniella has spent many years pursuing the best training possible, both following and shaping current trends and styles.

Daniella has also done work with local charities to raise money, to help those in need by doing hair fundraisers.

Marlo started her career as a Hairdresser and manager in the 80’s working in the family business form the ground up. She then decided to branch out and became a Top Billboard Hit singer, choreographer and makeup artist in the late 80 early 90’s. Through her experiences she saw that hair artistry and beauty was just as important on stage as it is in everyday life. After Her World Tour' ended she keep trying to find new ways to invent the energy she brought to the stage to her styling chair on a regular basis.

Her energetic personality is evident as soon as a client walks into the salon, and she devotes herself to exceptional customer service. She is very much involved in achieving the best education and the best result on her work. She has graduated from Redkin’s Academy, studied with Wella, and was an apprentice under a Vidal Sasson stylist. Marlo keeps expanding her personal training in hairdressing. Marlo produces very technical but fun up-do creations, haircuts, using texturizing tricks to add creativity to the hair. Her ambition has led to her specialization in contemporary and fun hair, describing her hairstyles as trendsetting.

Marlo has become an accomplished hairdresser and has achieved one of the highest qualifications in hairdressing and singing today.
